It’s the middle of summer, and living is easy. Therefore we do NOT need any animal foods to stress out our bodies. Today’s lunch consisted of:
- Brown rice on nori w/vegenaise, ume paste, pea sprouts & gomashio
- David’s Organic Cole Slaw (different every time, recipe below)
- Steamed radish greens, turnip greens, scallions and kale
We might have needed a more powerful lunch if we were about to scale a mountain, but we are sitting around the house, playing cards, doing correspondence, and getting ready for the work week.… Read the rest
