I have two friends dealing with health problems related to their stomach. One I met last year at a quick meeting in a Honey Dew Donuts. He ate a chocolate donut and a chocolate milk. One year later, voila, he has stomach cancer.
Another I just met, and he’s a wonderful man who works for a Food Bank, and loves pizza. He just got over a colostomy bag and is trying to get his insides to work again.
My main reason for writing today is that I’m sad that both of these people told me their doctor advised against eating brown rice.
Brown rice is a perfectly balanced food that offers great healing power, fiber, and digestive support. The trouble is that it needs to be CHEWED. Most people don’t chew, and therefore, they either gain weight or don’t get the benefit, or in most cases, both.
So chew your grains!!
