Are you living the life YOU want?
I’ve had 25 jobs in the past 25 years, from selling aluminum siding to selling health insurance,
from publishing a magazine to serving seafood, from designing business cards to driving a cab.
Some of these I have done for ME. Those are the ones that I enjoyed the most, and had the most success with.
Please don’t give in to the nay-sayers in your life, who may mean well, but sometimes prevent you from going
where you want to go. You still need to listen to others, including that voice inside that may tell you that it’s not yet time, or that you
are not quite ready, but one step at a time, you can get where you are going.
For example, if you have been an auto worker in Detroit, you might be part of a long line of family members
who have made a living as a member of the auto workers union. But hundreds of thousands of jobs have left that area,
and you might have always wanted to be a chef, or perhaps a dance teacher. Chase your dreams, don’t let anyone stop you.
I am chasing my dream of being a healer and an educator on natural health. Slowly, but steadily, I am making progress.
It feels really good to make progress, and without a money orientation or a need to yield to those around me, who have different dreams and needs, I am free to be me. That feels good.
