Now Is The Time

If you are over 40, and have any symptoms or take any daily meds, this is your wakeup call.

All disease is caused by animal protein, chemicals, and stress, and aided by eating sugar, and having bad family history.

  1. Beef, pork, veal and cheese are DEATH, for animals, the environment, and our health
  2. Organic is no guarantee, but worth it for animal foods, greens and fruit
  3. Smoking, alcohol, medications, sugar, and fast food must be avoided
  4. You need to walk in the woods and stretch every day. Running/lifting is secondary
  5. Work less, sleep more, and enjoy what you do, including family and friends

Now is the time to make changes. Your kids, spouse, boss etc. will thank you.

If you need any assistance, such as:

I’m Up 4 Pounds, Almost Never Happens

I know I’ve been eating like a maniac over the past 3-4 weeks.

The rainy weather, and the stress of my daughter’s college choice and final weeks of high school, as well as my son’s visit have been intense.

But, I know the mistakes I’ve made:

  1. Too much animal food
  2. Too much sugar from desserts and alcohol
  3. Too much bread
  4. Too many restaurant meals and eating late
  5. Missed workouts and lack of sleep

So, today I took a longer walk than usual, did a longer workout than usual, and today I am eating light, and vegan macrobiotic for lunch, after skipping breakfast.

Three to five days of this, and I will be back to my fighting weight.

It’s great to be able to control my health.

Eat Better Now

How can you improve your finances, love life, health, happiness and longevity?

By eating better.

Here are five first steps:

1. Buy organic, especially when it comes to GREENS, FRUIT, MEAT, EGGS & DAIRY

2. Eat boiled whole grains such as rice, millet, barley, corn, quinoa, bulgur, etc. Avoid white flour, which is empty calories, and laden with pesticides. It also causes diabetes.

3. Eat less animal foods, and more well cooked vegetables, sea vegetables, beans and seeds.

4. Reduce your intake of sodium, switch to sea salt, reduce your intake of sugar and chemicals, as well as sweet beverages, and avoid nightshade vegetables such as potato, tomato, pepper and eggplant, especially in winter.

5. Eat superfoods such as mushrooms, umeboshi plums, miso, radishes, sea veggies, sesame and olive oil.

One last idea: eat less, chew more, and don’t eat late.

What Did Jesus Eat?

By all accounts, Jesus was a vegan. Makes sense, as about 15% of all current Jews are vegetarian, and 8% vegan. That is why so many Jews are thinkers and entertainers and inventors. They think, and their eating promotes thinking and civility.

That is also perhaps why Israel is so successful in business, and in self-defense. And what happens when one of their enemies needs protection or medical care? They bend over backwards to provide it, and treat that person like their own. And when someone does not follow that, they are prosecuted fully. Israel is a class act, just like Jesus was.

Jesus valued life, and eating animals and enslaving them to be killed and their milk stolen from their babies, their babies stolen to be eaten as veal, would not quite fit his profile. Today, Jesus would be a firm believer in climate change, and be an advocate for the environment, animal rights, and of course fetal rights.

But if the future God of more than one billion people on Earth was eating no animal products, was he also prescribing that for his flock? It makes sense, and scripture backs it up.

So why do we now not only eat meat and dairy foods every day, in most parts of the world, but with so little attention to quality, that we are killing our waterways, soil, air, and destroying our health, not to mention the suffering of cows, pigs, chickens etc. on family farms throughout the U.S. and beyond? These are intelligent animals, with feelings and pain receptors, just like us. What we do is madness. And it creates bad karma.

Are we stupid?

Yes, yes we are stupid. We are complete morons. So much so, that we would elect a president who stands for everything we hate, just because he is the poster child for a love of money over everything else.  Someone so vile, that his wife even hates him. And what does Donald Trump eat? McDonalds! Now it all makes sense.  Sure, bomb the Syrians, the Afghanis, whatever. And don’t look now, but it’s all coming our way, because what goes around, comes around.

So, if you are eat meat and other animal foods daily, especially those produced with pesticides, added hormones and antibiotics, you could be looked at as someone who is for the suffering of animals, the environment, human health, your own family, your own health, and someone who promotes cruelty and war.

Happy Easter!

Pesticides Are Killing Us All

The way we grow crops is insane.

Annually, we use millions of tons of nitrogen fertilizer and we use hundreds of thousands of tons of pesticides (except in the case of organics, less than 1% of the total in the U.S.) Together, they have have led to skyrocketing cost of healthcare for cancer, Alzheimers, Parkinsons, allergies and crib death, and a near-complete destruction of our air, land, water and threaten animals in the sea, on land, and in the air.

GMO foods are also rampant, which our bodies cannot use, and which cause DNA damage. Our livers are overburdened with these toxins, as well as many many others. It’s a huge problem for all of us–right now.

Does anyone care? If you trust the government to protect you from pesticides, you are in for a rude awakening. Did you know that Cheerios were recently tested, and they contain more than 100x the legal limit of pesticides? The news is also bad for virtually all foods made with conventionally grown white flour.

Therefore, I have some advice for you, if you want to decrease your chances of nasty diseases striking you down soon.

  1. Buy organic for all bakery items, as well as animal products, fruits and greens
  2. Do not use pesticides on your property, and take off your shoes when you come in from outside. Also protect your pets as you can from pesticides on lawns, etc.
  3. One day per week, eat only boiled brown rice, miso soup, and steamed broccoli

Monsanto is the largest manufacturer of pesticides on Earth. They are in the process of merging with Bayer, a german company that is suspected of single-handedly killing 90% of the bees on the planet. They also made the gas that killed six million Jews during the Holocaust.

It’s time for us to wake up and smell the coffee. Our world is a dangerous place, especially if we don’t demand that our laws be followed.

Spring Cleaning 2017

Healthy living is within your reach. You only have to want it, commit to it, and work for it for about six months.

I can be your guide. You will save money, learn to create health, and see a new world that you did not know about.

If you think that vegetarians suffer because they cannot eat meat,  you are misinformed. Truth is, they enjoy their food, and they live longer, happier, healthier lives, and improve their own karma, save animals, and help save the planet. If you think that’s a bunch of crap, you should go take your pill and make your next appointment for a scan.

If you are ready for change, it won’t cost you much, mostly some time. But the payoff is HUGE.

Health Truth or Dare!

My health is not perfect. After all, I’m 52, and I work every day.
I get a cold every 2-3 years, and a sore shoulder, back or leg, maybe every other year, but overall I enjoy excellent health. Five cavities, one (hand) surgery, and about three trips to the emergency room in the past 32 years, all minor.
I attribute my success to being open to learn, and to having made positive changes. I also attribute my health and happiness to being more natural in diet and lifestyle, than the average American.
There are many others like me, some taught me to be more natural, but most people enjoy technology and everything that American life offers: Diet Coke, e- cigarettes, cholesterol meds, and frequent air travel etc. Some do fine…

Unfortunately, once we hit 30, perhaps 50% of us are chronically ill. Most are not learning about natural health, and not making positive changes. These people suffer a lot, pay a lot for medical care (and/or insurance), and are less productive in life. It’s too bad.

We hear stories about people with heart disease, cancer, Alzheimers, Diabetes, MS, Parkinsons, and lately addiction to opioids or alcohol. What a shame. No wonder the country is in such big trouble.

But what if these people had the means, support, and motivation, to make real changes in the way they eat and live? Would some be cured or greatly improved? Or are doctors right, that health problems are largely incurable, and must be managed with drugs and surgery?

TRUTH: Are you, or is someone you live with, between the ages of 30 and 60 years old, and suffering with an illness that is making life expensive, difficult, scary, and possibly shorter? If so, do you believe a six month program of eating organic, local, seasonal, plant-based meals, doing daily body rubs, yoga or meditation, walks in the woods, and quitting smoking, drinking, using chemicals on your body or your lawn, etc. would make a real difference?

OR…

DARE: I challenge you to list ten symptoms you have had more than once in the past five years (gingivitis, bronchitis, tennis elbow, rash, etc.), and include the more serious chronic illness you may have. Then commit to this simple program, for 60 days:

1. Eat boiled short grain brown rice, miso soup and baked, boiled, stir-fried or steamed broccoli, cauliflower, collards, kale or brussel sprouts 2x per week.

2. Eat half as much meat, seafood, dairy, sugar, and dried foods. Also eat out half as much (save money!) Add more beans, tofu, tempeh, mushrooms, etc. to satisfy your needs.

3. Eat less, chew more, don’t eat late, and skip dessert frequently. Drink clean water instead of soda, fruit juice, alcohol, tea and coffee.

4. Do a daily body rub and shower, add a shower filter, change your heating system filter, and eliminate perfume, hair dye, hair spray, nail polish and dangerous cleansers and pesticides on your lawn. Use your intuition about other good things you can do.

5. Spend more time in the woods, and less time on your computer or smart phone. Take up an old or new hobby. Enjoy more hugs and laughs. Meditate or do affirmations.

See what happens!!

Soon, I hope

I have very busy, mostly driving seven days a week to earn money for myself and my family.

My son is a junior in college, and my daughter will be a freshman next year.

Now, I wish to turn my attention back to natural foods and lifestyle changes for health, happiness, peace and environment.

Basically, a local, organic, seasonal plant-based diet, as well as natural body care, and stress reduction, can lead to a better life for all of us. But it’s not so easy to do, particularly in this day of smart phones, fast food, and long hours. That’s where I come in.

I will be making offers from this page, mostly for people in the Metrowest Boston area.
