I have two friends dealing with health problems related to their stomach.  One I met last year at a quick meeting in a Honey Dew Donuts. He ate a chocolate donut and a chocolate milk. One year later, voila, he has stomach cancer.

Another I just met, and he’s a wonderful man who works for a Food Bank, and loves pizza. He just got over a colostomy bag and is trying to get his insides to work again.

My main reason for writing today is that I’m sad that both of these people told me their doctor advised against eating brown rice.

Brown rice is a perfectly balanced food that offers great healing power, fiber, and digestive support. The trouble is that it needs to be CHEWED. Most people don’t chew, and therefore, they either gain weight or don’t get the benefit, or in most cases, both.

So chew your grains!!

I have realized that during the summer, certain changes happen.

If I’m not conscious about my diet and lifestyle, I may drink more alcohol and eat more sugar and fruit. I probably do this to cool my body down, and enjoy extra time off. But it can quickly add flab to my body.

I may not gain weight, but my shape changes, and of course I begin to see health problems creep in such as poor digestion, skin problems, muscle weakness, blurry vision, and fungus.

You may know all of this already. But here’s something new for you, which may seem unbelievable. But tuck it away. It could prove useful.

Here it comes:

In the summer, we need to adjust our diet, to eat fewer dry foods, and less animal protein. IF we do not, we tend to eat more extreme yin (expanding, acid-forming) foods in response. Then we see the problems such as weight gain, colds, high blood sugar, and allergies.

If you don’t believe this, try it! Keep a food diary for a week, and be free and easy. Then, in the following week, eat 50% less animal food, and cut out all fried and baked and dry foods.

Replace it with boiled grains such as long grain brown rice, millet, barley, and bulghur wheat (found in tabouleh). Use boiling and steaming for veggies and eat raw salads.

If you find you are less drawn to sugar and fruit and alcohol, you may also notice positive changes in your appearance, and how you feel and think. If you want to take one more step the following week, add probiotics (or miso) and seaweed, reduce caffeine, and chew more.

Why Are You So Afraid Of Vegan Food?

I get a lot of visitors, but most turn away after a brief look. What are people afraid of?

Every day I hear stories about people being diagnosed with ALS, cancer, and so many more potentially fatal illnesses, and they march right into their doctor’s office, and sign up for the “treatment.” That is generally a death sentence.

You see, they just want your money, and your body. They have no intention to cure you, because most medicines just change the associated testing numbers, or bury symptoms, which are meant to change your habits.

The reason healthcare costs keep rising, is that people don’t eat real food, don’t have any fear of dangerous toxins in the technological world around them, and don’t stop to take better care of their bodies, until they fall down, and they are reeled in by the hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, etc.

It’s criminal, really. But you can change all that, by looking for the truth, and finding it:

  1. Animal Protein Causes Disease
  2. GMOs and Pesticides Cause Cancer
  3. Flying and Microwaves and Hair Dye and Immunizations are Deadly
  4. We Need to Be Outside In Nature and Let Nature Inside Every Day to Reduce Stress

Turn off ALS? Wow. More than half of doctors:

  • Don’t value our time
  • Are not open to alternative healing
  • Promote tests, drugs and surgery
  • Don’t have a clue how to prevent illness
  • Are not healthy themselves
  • Believe that diseases are just bad luck

When we are diagnosed with a horrible disease like ALS, Parkinsons or Alzheimers Disease, the medical system reels us in. $250K per year or more can be made from each diagnosis, in tests, consultations, drugs and procedures. All the while, we suffer more and more symptoms, reduced quality of life, and the indignity of being told we will never be cured, our conditions only “managed.”

Well I am NOT a doctor, but I have been studying natural healing, seen some things, and have been living somewhat naturally for half a century, so I am qualified to give my opinion.

My Opinion

While 99% of these cases do not become cured, it is precisely because they are treated by doctors that they are not cured. A cure comes only from removing the cause, and then healing the damage. American doctors do neither, and know nothing about those strategies. But some of us do.

If you want to turn off ALS, turn off Parkinsons, turn off Alzheimers, and other diseases of the human nervous system, here’s what you need to do:

Natural Healing

Realize that poor diet and lifestyle choices over many years created the condition

Realize that while family history or environmental exposure may play a role, blaming them only removes motivation to change behaviors and create healing

Learn how to create balance in the body, by eating less, eating a plant-based diet, avoiding pesticides, GMOs and other chemicals, and improving dietary habits such as when you eat, chewing, cooking method and also add healing foods such as sea vegetables, mushrooms, miso etc.

Avoid toxic chemicals in perfumes, hair spray, hair color, nail polish, tattoos, cleaners, snowblowers, leafblowers, lawn mowers, and from diesel engines and home furnaces etc.

Learn how to support the body with proper exercise, sleep, posture, and alternative healing methods such as chiropractic, shiatsu, reflexology, yoga, meditation, acupunture, homeopathy and the like.

Restoring Balance After Addiction

I am a business owner, so I’m always getting resumés from people looking for jobs. Some are reliable, and have solid track records, and others don’t. My job is to find out who is reliable and talented, before I hire them.

The latest email I got is from a guy who was up front and honest that he has a drinking problem. He told me he has been sober for a year. I replied that I appreciated his honesty, that I would be his friend first, and maybe hire him or help him find a job later, depending on how it goes. I’m not sure how he will take that.

The secret formula is nothing more than nature, sorry Plankton!

However, I told him that everyone has difficulties. I myself have struggled with excesses, mostly food, but a little bit with the stock market, smoking pot, and even sex. We are all victims of our upbringing, and when my parents divorced it brought a lot of difficulty, and I had little support.

Luckily, from before I was 18, I was familiar with Macrobiotics, the study of balance, leading to a great life. Macrobiotics is most well known as a cure for cancer. It does that, but it’s so much more. As I learned more about balance, I also sought techniques to heal my heart and keep my hormones and feelings and actions in check. So far so good.

I believe that restoring balance after addiction is not only possible, but much easier with Macrobiotics, or at least knowledge of the tenets of Macrobiotics.

I would be willing to share those with anyone interested. Usually, the word Macrobiotics scares people off. Perhaps we should be more scared of eating tainted foods, getting tainted immunizations, and being shot by a power-hungry and unbalanced police officer. But we get used to what we are surrounded by in life.

Instant Cure For Waking Up to Urinate

My client today complained he has to get up at night 3-4 times to pee. This is very common, even younger than his 80 years. Heck, it happens to me (at 53) when I drink or eat sugar after 4pm.

  1. Rinse a generous 1/3 cup of millet and put in a saucepan. Add one cup spring water and a small pinch of sea salt (if you must, you can add a bit of smart balance for flavor; pepper is nice too).
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Uncover and let stand for 20 minutes. Fluff and enjoy with dinner. Chew well!!
