Another Stressed-Out Consumer

Yesterday, my wife had a near-flat on her Subaru. Rather than call AAA or Subaru Roadside Assistance, I offered to bring the car to the nearest auto shop, who we had bad luck with consistently in the past, but people change, right? I explained we had a short time window and were returning our lease in 60 days. After silence, three reminder phone calls and three hours, we got an estimate for $629.50 for four new tires. I smiled and called Subaru. They would try to solve our problem within one hour they said. One hour later, we had our tire plugged and the cost was $28.50. Giddy-up!
